To get started, we offer a complimentary consultation so that you can learn more about the options for your project. This is as easy as sending us photos or a video of your space. Then we will prepare a clear and fully detailed proposal for all the installation and construction materials for your project, and including the time-frame estimated to project completion. During this step, communication is key to designing the most accurate scope of work for your renovation project. We believe in complete transparency, and go the extra step to ensure all involved parties have a clear understanding of what the scope of work is, the quality we deliver, and the costs associated, so there is confidence all around before any work is started.
CREATING THE VISION
After the proposal is prepared, we will start the design process. Whatever your vision may be, our team will help you achieve it. We will transform your wishes into a detailed plan and guide you on where materials can be sourced from and of design options you may have never imagined. Lots of homeowners utilize resource sites such as Pinterest, Houzz, and others to get ideas and inspiration for their own project. We will work with you to optimize your living space with materials and layout considerations to enhance the appearance while improving the value of your home. Once we capture the design elements, we will be able to provide you with an itemized finish material list, including brands, quantity, and costs of the selected materials, as well as, securing and handling them. We also can include a full-design package to include 3-D renderings, spec sheets, and architectural costs, if needed. We will then schedule a site survey to confirm measurements and accuracy. At this point you will have a complete picture of the total project cost, which includes, design, installation, and all your selected finish materials.
Now that your renovation plan is in place, the next step is to get the proper approvals from the Department of Buildings if required, and the building owners association if applicable. Most renovation projects require work permits, and if an architect is required, approved plans will be required as well. We are experienced with the process of obtaining these necessary approvals, and our team will assist with this process.
Now that we have the project approvals and the materials chosen and sourced for the renovation, it is time to schedule the “break-ground” date! At this time, you will make any necessary arrangements for accommodations during the construction phase, if needed. Our goal is to have all material deliveries scheduled properly so that we can work efficiently to minimize the time that we spend in your home. During the project execution you can maintain communication with the Project Manager for project updates and any project related inquiries.
Every project has milestones set in place so that inspections will be performed properly throughout. This starts at the very beginning when the site is prepped and protection materials are installed in the work areas. Some of these materials are there to protect dust, and cover floors and other surfaces that need protection throughout the duration of the project. The project isn’t completed until a thorough inspection is performed. We will identify any areas that need to be adjusted or fixed, and create a final punch list to be executed with attention to the fine details. Customer satisfaction is our top priority, and we work hard to ensure that the project is completed to the highest quality standards.
POST CONSTRUCTION CLEAN-UP
After the final punch list is signed-off, we will wrap up by cleaning up the area. Our goal is to leave you with a fresh home and no trace of construction behind, so we remove the last scraps, if any, and wipe away the dust.
